Estefania “Fani” Arregui-Gomez co-founded Ábaco in 2014, along with her friend and chosen family Dr. Dan Navarro. At the inception of the company, Fani’s focus was on building a mature company infrastructure—systems, tools, processes, past performance, and contract vehicles—to enable the growth of the company. Fani led the effort to define and communicate Abaco’s values, mission, vision, growth strategy, and corporate culture, grounded in a people-first mentality, integrity, ingenuity, and purposeful legacy. Today, Fani sets the strategic direction for the company’s growth strategy. Fani is passionate about using Abaco’s success to help women enter or re-enter the workforce, providing opportunities for growth and success in a supportive work environment that values individual strengths and persistent excellence. Born in El Paso, TX, Fani grew up in Madrid, Spain, and returned to the United States, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and Information Systems from the George Mason University, as well as degrees in Systems Analysis, Computer Programming, and IT Support. When not working, Fani enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and cooking.

Dr. Dan Navarro is Abaco Strategy’s co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the daily operations of the company. He drives operational performance and leads the agile evolution of the company’s business model, in collaboration with leaders from across the company and industry.  Prior to founding Abaco, Dan had 30+ years of transformational leadership experience performing as Vice-President and Director in consulting, program management, and service delivery organizations around the globe. Expert at building strong client partnerships, he is recognized for driving complex organizational initiatives, and providing strategic technology advice to clients. Dan is originally from Mexico. He holds a doctorate degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies from the George Washington University, a Master’s in Business Administration from ITESM, and a B.A.S. in Information Systems from UNIVA (Universidad Catolica de Mexico). He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

Debra Fireline’s journey with Abaco, evolving from her role as a Director to her current position as Vice President of Strategy & Growth, showcases her outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. Leveraging her extensive background in government contracting and Information Technology, she emerges as a beacon of positive transformation, strategic growth, and unparalleled delivery. Having graduated magna cum laude in Business Administration from Liberty University, Deb has consistently demonstrated a dedication to setting and achieving high standards, not only for herself, but for her team and customers. Her strategic vision and innovative approaches have been instrumental in propelling Abaco's growth, ensuring operational excellence, and successfully navigating complex environments. However, Deb's true strength lies in her ability to build and nurture relationships, creating a culture of collaboration and trust within the organization. From her early days as an analyst to her current leadership role, she has inspired others with her resilience and determination. Beyond her professional achievements, Deb finds joy in outdoor adventures and exploring new horizons. She is dedicated to her family and is an avid reader, finding solace and inspiration in the pages of captivating books. As a devoted food enthusiast, she enjoys experimenting with culinary delights from around the world, embracing diverse flavors and cuisines.

Ms. Vazquez is Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Abaco, where she leads new business initiatives, develops partnerships, and supports the company in implementing strategies for long-term success. She works closely with executive leadership to drive strategies that strengthen Abaco’s mission and competitive edge. With over 18 years of international management and consulting experience, Ms. Vazquez has advised senior leaders across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, focusing on strategic planning, organizational transformation, and performance improvement. She has consulted for institutions such as USAID, the World Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and the Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Ms. Vazquez holds a JD, a Master’s in Policy Management from Georgetown, and a Master’s in Housing and Sustainability. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has received the Latin Lawyer Award and Georgetown McCourt Scholar Award. Outside of work, Ms. Vazquez enjoys spending time with her husband and dog Luna, rock climbing, and sharing adventures with her husband, family, and friends.

Dr. Mahdieh Gholampoor was Abaco’s first employee, joining the company as a Business Analyst. From the outset, she embraced challenges, earned recognition for her analytical expertise, and consistently fostered collaboration across teams. Her passion for organizational coaching and development played a pivotal role in shaping her strategic growth and leadership capabilities. Through her work alongside exceptional colleagues at Abaco, Mahdieh progressed through roles including Project Manager, Program Manager, Director, and Vice President of Service Delivery, embodying Abaco’s commitment to growth and excellence. For Mahdieh, working at Abaco feels like spending each day with friends, cultivating an environment rooted in camaraderie, trust, and productivity. When not working, Mahdieh enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids and their dog. She is passionate about health and wellness and enthusiastic about helping other people grow.

Cassandra McDaniel is the Director of Client Success and Program Management at Ábaco. In her role, she helps ensure clients see real results by guiding program delivery, supporting cross‑functional teams, and strengthening client relationships. Her work focuses on keeping programs running smoothly while adapting to changing client and organizational needs. Cassandra brings more than ten years of experience in program management, client success, and operations across government contracting and professional services. She has led complex programs, supported diverse teams, and helped organizations improve how they work and serve their clients. At the core of her approach is a belief in clear communication, practical solutions, and strong partnerships. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Cassandra is also a Project Management Professional and holds multiple Agile and Scrum certifications. She was drawn to Ábaco for its people-centered culture and commitment to meaningful client impact. Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys life on her farmette with her rescue dogs and cats, spending time outdoors, and appreciating a slower, hands-on pace that helps her stay grounded.

Graduating magna cum laude at Liberty University with a degree in Project Management, she brings a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical application to the table. Susie has demonstrated proficiency in managing financial operations, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for financial stewardship, Susie’s analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills, enables her to collaborate effectively across departments and senior management to drive financial success for Abaco. In her free time, Susie enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her local church, and traveling the world.

Victoria is a well-rounded and compassionate HR manager who is committed to fostering a positive work environment where employees can thrive and grow. In her free time, Victoria loves to travel and explore new places, immerse herself in different cultures, and try new cuisines. She is also passionate about cooking and enjoys experimenting with recipes and sharing her culinary creations with family and friends. Spending time with her three beloved dogs is another favorite pastime for Victoria, who cherishes the companionship and joy they bring to her life.
